Urgent Prayer Request

Hello friends, 

Please remember our friend Jack, who has been ill for sometime, and has been in our 

main referral hospital (not a very good one unfortunately) for 2 weeks already. 

Jack has undergone 2 surgeries on his sinuses, lost alot of blood and is in need of blood

 but the hospital doesn't have enough. We've been working to form a group of people to 

donate blood until we found out that all blood first has to go through the blood-bank and 

than is distributed to the many hospitals and from there to all patients in need of

 that type, which is O+. 

Unfortunately, other blood types are available, but Jack is in need of O+. 

Please be praying with us for Jack; he is in need of blood, 

though there is little to give and healing of his body from these surgeries and the illness.

Nature at it's best

As I've been getting used to my new camera, and it's abundance of settings, I've had fun with nature in our compound...God has created such amazing animals & insects, they are fascinating to photography and zoom in!! Enjoy!

Pentax on the go!

This past week my new Pentax K7 arrived, and it's been a week of figuring it out and loving every minute of it! Now it's time to make memories last for those who create them!

Spirit 2012

 As Cedar Uganda, we held our First Annual Spirit Event, one that touched our hearts, as the Holy Spirit was in the midst. It truly was an amazing night, worshiping in Spirit & Truth!

Dream come true!

Well, for years I've dreamt of photography, but that went...no where! For over 10 years, I've carried my camera (first a film camera, and than a digital) in my purse. Whenever I'd head out somewhere, I'd check for 3 things in my purse; Camera, Phone and Car Keys! Today I have to thank Trophi, my dear husband for his encouragement and push-start into professional photography!
Over the last few weeks, I've done a few shoots, and today I'll be shooting our ministries first event; Spirit 2012!

 Sarah, a wonderfully cheerful girl, ever smiling, was a joy to shoot!

 Lynda, who should be the ultimate model, would hardly crack a smile, but looks gorgeous! Her color coordination was fabulous!

Jean a dear friend and also a blast to have along, kept us hopping, willing to lie in the damp grass, rest her head on rocks and just be herself!
